Reweaving & Re-Knotting

For holes, tears, and worn-through areas, we reweave the damaged section to match the original construction: the same knot type, pile height, yarn weight, and color. Fringe Repair & Replacement

Fringe is not decoration. It is the end of the warp threads that hold the whole rug together, so when fringe wears away, the knots next to it can start to unravel. Edge & Selvage Repair

The side edges, called the selvage, keep the rug's weft threads from coming loose. When the binding frays or detaches, we rebind and reinforce it with wool or cotton matched to the original, stopping the damage before it spreads into the body of the rug. See rug edge repair.

Moth Damage Restoration

Moths eat wool pile down to the foundation, usually under furniture or in rooms that see little foot traffic, and Arizona's warm climate gives them a long season. We restore bare patches by reweaving new pile into the exposed foundation, matching color and knot density as closely as possible.
