Our Process for Oriental Rugs

Every Oriental rug that comes through our facility receives individualized treatment based on its specific construction and materials. The process begins with a thorough pre-inspection to identify the rug's origin, fiber type, dye stability, and any areas of concern. We then perform deep mechanical dusting to remove embedded desert grit — critical in Arizona's climate. The rug is fully submerged and hand-washed with cleaning agents selected for its specific fiber and dye type. We rinse until the water runs completely clear, then dry the rug flat in a controlled environment. Finally, we groom the pile and perform a quality inspection before wrapping for return delivery.
